SPITZ

ABOUT SPITZ

Spitz is one of the newer additions to the Little Tokyo community. Although they do not serve Japanese food, Spitz serves to show the changing face of Little Tokyo, showing that these ethnic neighborhoods are not so much a mosaic as they are a melting pot. Spitz has two locations, with their first in the Pasadena area. It has been named one of the “Best New Restaurants of the Year” in Los Angeles Magazine, as well as in the top 5 Best Values in Los Angeles according to a Zagat rating. Spitz serves Döner kebabs, a sandwich made from minced lamb, beef, ground chicken or falafel. The slow roasted meat is complimented by lettuce, tomato, onions, cucumber, peppers. They also serve sides including some great sweet potato fries.

TESTIMONIALS

Spitz was so amazing. Just at first glance the ambiance had me ready to return. However when the owner Bryce gave us his account of how this amazing place came to be it sealed the deal for me. The amazingly delicious food was icing on the cake.
