San Gabriel Valley is the new Chinatown of Los Angeles.
This community has continued to grow over the years and is now host to a number of restaurants and ethnic eateries that serve its local Chinese population. San Gabriel Valley is pocketed with clusters of delicious Cantonese cuisine. Six Taste is happy to present our New Chinatown Tours in the San Gabriel Valley. Our food tour will give guests an introduction to the local cuisine, from Dim Sum 101 to some fresh Chinese pastries.
Our local guide will lead our guests through five different restaurants in the area through a 3-hr walking tour. Ever felt confused in a Dim Sum restaurant? Don’t know how or what to order? Our guide will take you through, course by course, and give an introductory course on the cuisine. After Dim Sum, the tour will go to 5 other establishments in the area to get a well-rounded perspective on the culinary scene of the area.
Due to the nature of the types of restaurants and the way they prepare their food, the New Chinatown tour is unsuited for vegetarians. Please see our FAQ for more details.
