Thai Town
This tour takes guests through the only Thai Town in the world. You'll sample diverse Thai dishes from the four different regions of Thailand, all represented in this small ethnic village in East Hollywood. A guide will take you to the heart of Thai culture, Thai American history, and the local culinary scene. Tour includes a tour of a local Thai market and gift shop.
*Due to the family-style nature of this tour, we unfortunately cannot accommodate any dietary restrictions like vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free (many dishes contain fish sauce/shrimp paste/oyster sauce/ soy sauce), or seafood/shellfish allergies. We recommend setting up a private tour if you do have these dietary restrictions, and we'd be happy to customize for your group.
ITINERARY
Guests will be led on a route of about 4-5 eateries on roughly 6 walking blocks. This tour lasts about 3 hours. Enjoy over 7 unique tastings from local "mom-and-pop" Thai eateries in the neighborhood that may include "Thai tacos," whole crispy fish with chili sauce, Rad Na noodles, Thai omelette with shrimp, beef panang curry, pork jerky, spicy papaya salad, duck egg noodle soup, Pad Kee Mao noodles with tofu, and coconut taro patties and coconut custard for dessert.
**Since we partner with over 100 different restaurants in LA, menus and tasting locations are subject to change.
GENERAL INFORMATION & PRICING
Ticket prices start at $85 per person, which includes all food tastings and guided walking tour. The amount of tastings on the tour is equivalent to a full meal.
If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, please let us know at least 72 hours in advance. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee substitutions and additional charges may apply. We do our best to accommodate any special needs or considerations including wheelchairs, strollers, babies or young children. Advance purchase required. Same-day add-ons or changes will incur an additional fee of $25 per person.
**In the tourism industry, it is customary to tip a standard gratuity of 15% to 20% of the retail price of the tour. If you enjoyed your time on the tour, please be sure to take care of our tour guides.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Tickets are non-refundable. If you need to reschedule, you must contact Six Taste at least 2 weeks in advance. Otherwise, there are no refunds, credits, or exchanges for no-shows. Six Taste reserves the right to cancel tours due to low attendance. In this case, you will be notified and refunded the evening before the tour date.
